Festival Theatre receives New England Award as Best Professional Theatre in Region

The New Bedford Festival Theatre was the recipient of the Moss Hart Memorial Award at ceremonies held at the New England Theatre Conference’s 64th Annual Convention this year at the Westford Regency Inn and Conference Center in Westford, Ma. The Moss Hart Award is named In memory of the late Moss Hart, Broadway Director (“My Fair Lady” and “Camelot”), and Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright (“You Can’t Take It With You”). The award was presented by Moss Hart’s son, Christopher Hart, to Festival Theatre Executive Producer, Armand Marchand. Festival Theatre has previously won the Moss Hart Award in 1992 (“Nunsense”), 2008 (“Les Miserables”) and 2012 (“Hairspray”).
