MEET OUR HENRY HIGGINS – Peter Gregus

Peter recently ended his historic 11 year run on Broadway in the TONY Award winning musical JERSEY BOYS in the role he created, Bob Crewe. He has also been seen on Broadway in the original casts of AIN’T BROADWAY GRAND and the TONY Award Winning musical CONTACT, directed and choreographed by Susan Stroman for the Lincoln Center Theater.

Between his performance gigs, Peter enjoys a a varied career as a director and choreographer. Recent directorial outings; LEND ME A TENOR, GODSPELL, A CHORUS LINE, THE BOYFRIEND & WEST SIDE STORY, to name a few. One of his proudest achievements is adapting and staging the play MARATHON 33 by June Havoc for the Pittsburgh Playhouse. Peter also donates his time and talents working with Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, having staged & directed benefits for their cause starting way back in 1990!

An avid scuba diver, Peter hopes to one day combine his love of the stage and the sea by creating the first under water production of THE LITTLE MERMAID.
